  • This panel is based on, but not limited in use to, the HumanName data element in HL7 FHIR.[https://www.hl7.org/fhir/datatypes-definitions.html#humanname] The recommendation is to use the structured format in HL7 or similar messaging standards for sending name-related information. LOINC codes are provided for use-cases that are not able to use the messaging standard.
