Definition

  • This panel contains results for identifying individuals with adaptive immune response (T-cell response) to SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). The test detects effector T cells responding to stimulation using two separate peptide pools derived from the SARS-CoV-2 spike and nucleocapsid proteins. For testing that detects SARS-CoV-2 stimulated gamma interferons but does not differentiate between the spike and nucleocapsid proteins, use SARS-CoV-2 stimulated gamma interferon panel [LOINC: 95974-2].
