Definition
- Multigene testing for myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), including myeloid neoplasms, acute myeloid leukemia, mastocytosis, and other acquired hematological stem cell neoplasms. Genes tested commonly include but are not limited to JAK2, CALR, MPL, ASXL1 and KIT. Testing is performed for diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic assessment in patients with MPNs.[PMID: 32781570]
